Campus Life
Service
The children of St. Joseph School are taught to serve year-round, a premise that aligns with our mission to promote a life full of compassion, empathy, and gratitude. Whether it be through the school's Cares Club, Annual Acts of Kindness Campaign, the National Junior Honor Society drives, or each individual grade's service projects, we're proud to give back by partnering with important causes, and organizations, in and around the greater Danbury community.
Athletics
Having won countless medals and championships on the Diocese level, St. Joseph School enjoys a rich history in athletics. Track & Field is available for all students in grade's K-8, while Varsity & JV Basketball is open to those in grade's 5-8. Of course, no athletic program would be complete without our annual pep rally, cheerleaders and team mascot, the Knight!
A Day in the Life
On any given day, children partake in all kinds of activities from making rosaries, to going on field trips, to rocking out to Christian music concerts, and celebrating anything from holidays to Dr. Seuss's birthday! We have clubs such as The Children's Rosary Ministry, Cares Club, and Yearbook, and organizations such as The National Junior Honor Society, and Student Council. One of our most special traditions is the "buddy system" which pairs our elementary students with upper classmen. Together, the children attend Mass, participate in mentoring activities, and form lasting bonds.
Arts
Enrichment programs allow students to be creative and showcase their natural talents as musicians, singers, artists, and more! Some of our most notable annual events and activities include the art exhibit, variety show, spring musical, and band performance.
